We had a wonderful time on our Round-Up field trip! The students were very excited to be going to the rodeo and to see all the animals. They have already asked me when we get to go on another field trip! Thank you very much to the parents who went with us - we couldn't go and do these things without your help!
CB and SW were able to pet the princess's horse. He was very friendly!
We climbed all the way to the top of the Happy Canyon bleachers - it's a long way up!
We had the chance to watch a farrier at work. He did a great job of turning the horses hoof so that we could see what was going on.
Willow was a belgian horse that we were allowed to pet. She would even put her head down lower so everyone could reach her!
We stopped and took a picture in the Teepee Village.
We were able to watch some of the rodeo. We yelled Let'r buck at the Round-Up Court and we cheered on the calf-ropers (and the calves when they managed to get away :)
After watching the rodeo we went to the Round-Up Musuem and one of the first things we saw was the bucking horse War Paint. We also stopped at Chute 8.
To finish the field trip, we ate lunch together in the park.
All in all, it was a great day! Let'r Buck!
