Money and Measurement

We have been working on money. How to use it to buy things we might want or need. The other day we worked with a partner and practiced some real world money work. Each partner would choose two things from the list below. They would then add them together. Their partner would count out how much money they needed. Then they would switch roles.

For measurement, we have been trying to learn the difference between inches, feet and yards. Pretty hard stuff! We have been measuring up a storm and recording our results on different papers to hang around our room.
